Great for problem skin

| My 3 year old son has eczema and was never able to use soaps that have any type of fragrance because they would dry out his skin and cause flare ups. I tried this after a recommendation from another parent. It does not break his skin out at all and keeps him soft while smelling good. He loves it because it is the only soap that lets him have bubbles in his bath. |

I haven't bought this product but both my sisters use it on all 5 of their kids.
My niece suffered terribly with Eczema, they tried everything the doctor recommended and nothing helped until this soap was suggested. It cleared her up completely, she hasn't had any flare ups since and it's now been about 3 years.
I would recommend this product to any parent who has children suffering from Eczema. |
way too much $$ for what you get

| I was so disappointed... I bought this as a gift and it was embarrassing to give.. it was a mere soap chip and not a bar...for the money many other products are on the market that are better ... |
The scent of friendship

I live in the UK and have loved this soap ever since Lush first started selling it. I have an impaired sense of smell but can *just* pick up the fragrance of this product, which is wonderful. I was delighted when I found that it was available in the USA through Amazon as I was able to send some to a very dear friend to whom I'd raved about it; now she understands :o)
I find that it often comes in awkwardly-sized chunks, but it's soft enough to cut into more manageable pieces. That way you can hide a bit of it away from the children it's far too good for them! |
Great soap for kids!

I have been using Honey I Washed the Kids on my two children (ages 2 and 7) for a few weeks now and love it.
Honey I Washed the Kids has a delicate, delicious, creamy honey fragrance that goes on moderately strong, but washes off leaving a faint, lovely smell.
It cleans dirty kids suprisingly well. I have used it to get pen, dirt, candy etc. off of dirty kids with great success.
It lathers well. It works well as a shampoo on kids with short hair.
I am assuming that it is NOT tear free, but I have washed my kid's faces with it and have never had a complaint from them.
Great for adults too.
Like all of my LUSH products, I remove them from the bath immediately after use. I don't use a container. I put them on wax paper on the counter (air drying seems to help them last longer) and they make the bathroom smell fantastic. |
A Bit Too Sticky Sweet

| I'm a big fan of Lush soaps, but this one didn't do it for me. It was simply way too sticky and sweet for my liking. The scent of this soap is complex. While the name mentions honey I think it smells more like chocolate and caramel. I'm a fan of some of Lush's sweet scents (the creamy candy line, for example), but this is just a bit too much. I just don't feel clean washing with something that smells like gooey caramel. That said, if you love dessert scented bath products then I highly recommend giving this a try, as I suspect you'll love it. It's just a bit too much for me. The creamy texture is certainly nice, but I can't get over the smell. |
Good, gentle soap

| Honey I Washed The Kids Soap is a very soothing and mildly scented soap. It smelled faintly of honey to me, nothing over powering. I never noticed it lingering on me as some of Lush's soaps can do. It always left my skin very soft and moisturized. A good natural soap, I liked using it very much. I definitely recommend trying this soap out for yourself. |
