Yummy!

This soap smells so good, good enough to eat (but don't do that.)

The smell is that of a spicy orange with a strong hint of patchouli. Leaves your skin feeling very soft, clean, and healthy.

Don't be deceived by the picture: The color of the soap bar isn't that bright of orange. It's actually a darker orange red color.

LUSH's Karma soap is by far my favorite product that LUSH makes, and that is really saying something, as I am smitten with everything that they sell. It has a patchouli base with citrus notes (I would say mandarin, grapefruit, and orange). It is very refreshing (it is more of a spring/summer scent, but I use it year-round), and rinses off easily. It lathers quite well and does not leave a sticky film on the skin. I would not say that it is moisturizing, nor would I say that it was drying, just a great soap that gets you clean. I also shave my legs with it. Very addictive scent, but unique, so if you are not sort of boho/hippie by nature, then you should probably smell it in one of their stores before you buy it online.
Calming, invigorating, and delicious

Lush advertises its Karma line as balancing, invigorating, with a bit of bohemian flair. Indeed, it is all of those things. It's a difficult fragrance to explain- definitely well-blended and multi-layered. The best description I can give is that the oranges give an uplifting sparkle while the patchouli grounds the fragrance. It's much more than a sum of it's parts- in fact, I think it's possible to hate one of the components and still love this perfume. I am no fan of patchouli, but really like Karma. I've been in love with this scent since I first smelled it in a Lush shop in 2001. Lush sells its Karma fragrance in a variety of forms, but I think I like the soap best. It's a little lighter on the perfume, and lingers on the skin, especially when using it to wash hands.
Patchouli and Orange

One whiff of this delicious soap and you are transported to a land of pine trees where plates of freshly sliced oranges are served on a bed of lemongrass, surrounded by patchouli candles. This is the best way I can describe the scent that seems to awaken from the night and mingle with memories of exotic honey and wide-open skies.

I am not sure where I go when I inhale deeply, but I am no longer in the shower. Follow this with the Skin Sin lotion and you will enter a little bit of heaven on earth. Also delicious to use in a bath with sea salts and patchouli, orange slices optional, but you might crave the taste of oranges while using this soap.

bought this at lush, posting the review on amazon...
some days i love the smell, other days it gets to me...thats never really happened to me before:)
im addicted to moisturizers and i slather on a lot, so i find when i shower most lush soaps dont lather well on me...it lathers well on the hubsters so im guessing it must be the tons of moisturizer i use that works against the lather...
i also find it smells better on my husband than on me...and yeah i would classify this as a more masculine than unisex scent.
bottom line, smell it before you buy it. either you'll love it or you wont...its one of those things!

My soap has lasted me over 6 months. I love the smell so much I got the shampoo and the Karma cream. You can slice off smaller pieces and use as needed if you dont want this soap to get cracks in it from sitting in a soap dish.
Yummy!

Love the smell of Karma - it is warm and inviting without being overpowering. If you keep the soap wrapped in a drawer it will make your clothes smell wonderful.
