I've tried Neutrogena, Petroleum jelly, Chapstick brand, WD40- you name it, all in search of a good lip balm. They only temporarily lubricate your lips. L'Occitane, however, eliminates the dry lips. I first used this lip balm day and night for just a few days and I saw and felt a MAJOR difference. There was no longer a dependency for lip balm. Even on the days I forgot to apply lip balm, my lips were in good shape. I will never purchase another brand lip balm ever. Now if they just can just reduce the price...

This is from my favorite line of moisturizers, L'Occitane. You can get this line from Sephora and QVC. This lip balm is no exception to the quality of this line. This is an excellent lip balm. It moisturizes my lips nicely without being too heavy or sticky. It leaves a clear shine to them too. This has a nice, pleasant scent, not too heavy. I have and use this lip balm and it comes in handy in the Minnesota winters. I highly recommend this product.
Very DISSAPOINTED

Reviewer: hmmbug,
I have a lip balm by this company that I just LOVE....but this new product was awful....hard, like trying to rub a candlestick on your lips! The product in a silver tube (which I was told was a previous version) was soft and smooth and healing, just wonderful. I contacted the company directly and they won't do anything because I purchased this from Amazon. They said I probably got a "bad batch"......never again!! It would not allow me to submit with NO stars, so I had to give it 1.
One word... AMAZING!!!!

Let me start off by saying that I had EXTREMELY dry lips. They would crack and peel everyday. I have tried everything from medicated lip balm to department store varieties, Burt's Bees, and just about every brand of drugstore chapstick & lip balm. I read reviews and thought I'd give this a try. When I first put it on my lips it felt different than anything else I had tried. It is nearly odorless and tasteless which is also something I am not used to. It felt like rubbing a smooth candle on your lips, it's smooth but kind of hard and you really need to press to get it on. Ok, with that said I wasn't so sure about it. Not that is was a bad thing but just not seeming like anything special. Well after about 10-15 mins. my lips already started to feel so soft, and what I really love is that it does not feel waxy or greasy and it's not to shiny. It just feels how your lips should always feel, soft, and supple. It stays on far longer than anything else too! I put in on before I went to bed, other chapsticks have made me breakout at night. Not this one. The very next day my lips were still soft and did NOT PEEL and haven't since. I use it at lease once a day now, just because I love it, but you could get away with once a week and still have amazing lips :) I will never buy anything else for dry lips again. For me it is worth the few extra dollars to never have dry lips again. You will not be disappointed with this lip balm. I am going to pick up the body cream next!

I had to throw this product away the first day I received it.... yes, I threw 10 bucks in the waste basket. I am extremely dissapointed. Rubbing this L'Occitane Baume on my Levres was like rubbing on a glue stick, that gunk stayed on for hours and the sticky film would not come off.
Please do not spend your money on this, try Nivea's Essential Lip care it's much cheaper and it's the quality I thought I would get with this very Drying Lip Balm Shhtick.
I love this lip balm!

I love this lip balm. It is hard to find, but well worth it! A bit expensive, but goes on nicely and has a nice scent, as well. Definitely recommend it.
Extremely Disappointing

I agree with the previous reviewer - this product has the consistency of candle wax.
I love other L'Occitane products and was anxious to try the lip balm.

What I found is that it is definitely not worth $10 - or even $2.
The "balm" is as stiff and unforgiving as $.99 ChapStick. Not soothing and impossible to 'smooth' onto your lips.
Even Burt's Bees is creamier - and that isn't saying much.

So far I've had the best luck with a $3 tube of Nivea balm from Target.
Save yourself $7 and a lot of frustration.

LOVE IT

I got this full size lip balm as part of an airline gift bag and as soon as I landed, I went to Sephora and bought 2 more! I love it! It goes on smooth and there's no tingling, no greasy feeling, my hair doesn't stick to it and most of it, it WORKS!
