Cleared my skin in 10 days

I have now been using this bar, in conjuction with squalane serum, neem balm, and the dead sea scrub from Zaja for about 10 days. My skin went through a period of detoxification, where lots of blemishes came up, but quickly disappeared. After 10 days, I have no new blemishes on my face, and the old ones are healing very quickly. Awesome products! I do:
AM- wash with dead sea scrub, then apply squalane serum
PM- wash with charcoal soap, then apply neem dream balm. |

| I used this on my face and back for about 3 weeks for mild acne and didn't see any changes at all. I personally think the bar smells kind of bad also. |
Lathered Up With Many Charcoal Bars, Yet The One By Z is The Best By Far!

| I've used a lot of charcoal soap bars, all created from incredible artisans and reputable brands that I've purchased from. In my honest opinion, although I've enjoyed all the charcoal bars that I've used, the best one for my complexion is this one created by ZaJa. I have an oily Southeast Asian skin with a darker tone. Acneic concerns have always ran in our family. From the hyper pigmentation of the acne scars to the congestion of the pores and the uneven skin texture mixed with that gnarly excessive oiliness, my skin wasn't always the prettiest but was super reactive to a lot of cleansers. The reason that this charcoal bar is the best that I've found for my skin is for some simple reasons. With one bar of soap I can do a head to toe wash. If I want a deep cleansing, I do a double suds n' rinse but I massage the foam on my skin and neck for at least 3-5 minutes for stimulation adding more water as I go along. I then leave that second sudsing on for quite a while, letting it dry on my skin. I rinse it in very warm water many times and do a final cool rinse. Sometimes, I'd do a sudsing just for my T-Zone and leave that on as a mask. Sometimes I alternate and use another cleanser/scrub/mask and when my skin "tells me," I indulge in the Zaja Charcoal soap bar for that balancing, deep cleansing, detoxifying, polishing effect. This is the best charcoal soap bar that I've ever used. From cold processed to hot processed to hand milled and melt and pour, this is by far the best charcoal bar that I've ever used. And it lasts forever!! Slice it thin like butta', put it on a drainer and you can use that little slab for more than two weeks for your face. Oooh, I've even brushed my teeth with it. A formula that's been perfected that's often imitated and yet never duplicated. |
